Bedale AFC Bring A Whole New Meaning To Football ‘Strip’

Bedale AFC Bring A Whole New Meaning To Football ‘Strip’

When HECK and Bedale AFC collaborate on a new team kit for the season ahead, it’s always a little...unconventional. This year, they bring a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘football strip’ with this ‘see-through’ kit, that raises awareness and cash for cancer.

We have teamed up with Bedale AFC again to raise awareness for two of the UK’s biggest killers in men: prostate and testicular cancer. If you’ve seen our previous ‘wurst’ ever HECK bangers kit or the famous bangers and mash strip that was banned by the FA, then you’ll know that we like to make a statement when it comes to raising awareness for such an important cause. Together with Bedale AFC, we have raised almost £200,000 for Prostate Cancer UK just from selling our striking football shirts and other fundraising activities.

The football club has gone ‘see-through’ this year, with only HECK boxers to save the players’ blushes. Branded CHECK, these eye-catching designs remind men to check themselves regularly and get in touch with a GP if they spot anything out of the ordinary.

1 in 8 men are likely to develop prostate cancer at some point in their life and over 47,000 are diagnosed every year, with 11,000 a year dying from the illness. To call for more funding behind better testing and research, all proceeds of sales made from our special edition charity packs of ‘CHECK’ sausages will also be donated to Prostate Cancer UK during September.
