A Journey Through Heck’s Production Line Through The Eyes Of Basil

Tune in to Channel 5 on 6 October at 8pm and join us as we give a tour of our vertical farm and show you how we grow our own basil and other micro-greens for HECK products

 

Our vertical farm allows us to grow our own herbs and micro-greens so we can put them into our products, such as our popular Vegan Italia and Chicken Italia ranges. By doing this, we’re also reducing food waste and the food miles of the ingredients we use, using less water and cutting out pesticides and herbicides altogether. Not can we control the taste of the basil we put in our products to keep our flavours consistent, but it also makes our production much more sustainable!
