Vegan BBQ Bacon Double Cheese Burger

Ingredients:

1 Vegan Italia Burger, cut in half

2 slices of Vegan Cheese

Vegan Bacon

Vegan Burger Bun

BBQ Sauce

Gherkins

 

Method:

  • Start by cutting the burger in half so you have two thinner patties.
  • Cook the two parts of burgers according to the packaging instructions in a little oil until golden on both sides. Remove pan from the heat.
  • Top both burger halves with the vegan cheese then stack on top of each other. Cover the pan with a lid to allow cheese to melt.
  • Cook the vegan bacon following the packaging instructions. This usually takes approx. 5 minutes. Once you’ve reached your desired crispiness, set aside.
  • It’s time to assemble your burger stack. Lay out the burger bun base and add a generous dollop of BBQ sauce. Place your gherkins on top followed by the burger and cheese stack. Add the vegan bacon and another dollop of BBQ sauce. Place the other half of the burger bun on top to complete.
  • Serve on its own, with crisps or potato fries.
  • Enjoy!
