THAI CHICKEN AND BASIL MEATBALLS

Prep Time: - Cook Time: 40mins - Makes 24

Perfect for canapés or as part of a sharing platter. Using our Spring mince to make these perfectly seasoned, easy to make meatballs. 

 Ingredients:

500g Spring Chicken Mince

3 tbsp plain flour

1 tbsp olive oil

1 pack fresh basil leaves

2 roasted peppers, cut into 24 chunks

24 cocktail sticks

Sweet chilli sauce, to serve

 Method:

  1. Add the flour to a small bowl and lightly dust your hands. Roll the mince into 24 meatballs, dusting hands in-between each meatballs to help bring them together.
  2. Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the meatballs and cook for 8 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Meanwhile, thread a roasted pepper chunk and a large basil leaf onto each skewer, once the meatballs are cooked, thread onto each skewer and serve with sweet chilli sauce.

Tips!

These meatballs can be reheated in the oven at 180°c/fan 160°c for 10 minutes.
