Stuffed Pasta Lasagne

Lasagne, but not as you know it. This HECK! Stuffed Pasta Lasagne swaps the classic layered sheets for giant pasta shells, each one stuffed with rich Bolognese made with HECK! Simply Chicken Mince.

It’s comfort food with a twist – creamy mascarpone, bubbling mozzarella, and a cheeky kick of chilli flakes all come together for a dish that’s as fun to make as it is to eat.

Whether you’re serving up midweek indulgence or impressing the family at Sunday dinner, this stuffed lasagne delivers big flavour without the faff.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack HECK! Simply Chicken Mince

  • 250g large pasta shells

  • 150g mascarpone

  • 50ml red wine

  • 50ml chicken stock

  • 2 tsp garlic

  • 1 red onion, finely diced

  • 3 tbsp parmesan

  • 2 tins finely chopped tomatoes

  • 150ml béchamel sauce

  • 100g grated mozzarella

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes (for a cheeky kick)

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • Fresh basil to finish with flair

Method

  1. Preheat oven - Heat your oven to 200°C.

  2. Cook mince - Heat oil in a large frying pan, add mince and onion, and fry until golden.

  3. Build sauce - Stir in chopped tomatoes, red wine, chicken stock, mascarpone, and garlic. Simmer 15–20 minutes until rich.

  4. Cook pasta - Boil pasta shells until al dente, then drain.

  5. Prep dish - Spread béchamel sauce over the bottom of a baking dish, then place pasta shells on top.

  6. Fill shells - Spoon the chicken mince mixture into each shell. Add a little extra mascarpone on top.

  7. Top - Scatter mozzarella, sprinkle chilli flakes and oregano.

  8. Bake - Cook for 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbling.

  9. Finish - Garnish with fresh basil and serve proudly.
