The perfect recipe for beer lovers! Make our beer infused gravy mixed with chip-shop chips and our Heck 97% Pork Sausages!
Ingredients
- 1 Pack Heck 97% Pork Sausages
- 1 Pack Frozen Chunky Chips
- 2 Onions
- 5-6 Sage Leaves
- 3 Sprigs of Thyme
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 12 oz Black Sheep Amber Ale
- 1 Beef Stock Pot
Steps
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees
- Follow the cooking instructions for your frozen chips
- Pan-fry on medium heat the Heck 97 sausages for 15 minutes
- Whilst the sausages cook, make the gravy by slicing the onions and adding them to a saucepan with melted butter, brown sugar, salt, pepper, sage and thyme. Mix
- Once the onions have caramelized, add the flour and the beer. Stir for a couple of minutes
- Add the beef stock diluted in 500ml hot water and leave to simmer for 7 minutes
- Combine, the chips, sausages and gravy
