Makes approx. 8–10 rolls
Ingredients
- 1 pack HECK Simply Chicken Mince
- 6 filo pastry sheets
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 egg yolk, beaten (for egg wash)
- 4 tbsp chilli jam
- Bagel seasoning (or sesame seeds)
- Salt & pepper
Method
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- On a non-stick surface, lay down one sheet of filo pastry and brush lightly with melted butter.
- Lay another sheet on top and repeat until you’ve layered three sheets.
- Season the chicken mince with salt and pepper.
- Spoon a line of mince lengthways along one edge of the pastry.
- Spread a line of chilli jam alongside the mince.
- Starting from the filled edge, carefully roll the pastry up tightly into a log.
- Cut into 4–5 cm pieces and place on a lined baking tray.
- Brush each roll with egg yolk and sprinkle with bagel seasoning.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
