Chicken Sausages with Chorizo, Creamy Mash and Seasonal Veg

Prep Time: 5mins - Cook Time: 20mins - Serves: 2 
Sausage and mash is a classic dinner option, but the addition of smoky chorizo & veggies steps things up a level!

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack Heck! Simply Chicken Sausages
  • 100g Spanish Chorizo 
  • 180g Green Beans 
  • 125g Cherry Tomatoes on the vine 
  • 400g Ready Made Creamy Mash
  • 15g Butter
  • 2 tbsp Milk 
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower Oil
  • 15g Flat Leaf Parsley
  • Salt & Pepper
Method
  1. Pre-heat your oven to 180C
  2. In a pan add oil and the chicken sausages, cook until golden brown & cooked all the way through (8-10 mins). Chop up the chorizo, add to the pan, add in a little extra oil if you need it
  3. Whilst your sausages cook, place the cherry tomatoes in the oven with a drizzle of oil and salt and pepper - Roast for around 8-10 minutes
  4. Place the green beans into a saucepan of boiling water and cook until softened
  5. Place the mash potato into the microwave along with with butter and milk and stir until creamy
  6. Serve up - Make sure you get all the delicious juices from the pan of chorizo! Season and sprinkle with fresh herbs to finish.
