Bacon, Brie and Cranberry Beef Burger

Prep time: 5 mins – Cook time: 20 mins – Serves: 2 

This is a DELICIOUS homemade gourmet burger. Sticky, sweet cranberry sauce takes it to another level!

Ingredients:

2 Steak and Butter burgers

2 brioche burger buns

2 tablespoons of cranberry sauce

4 rashers of streaky bacon

1 wedge of brie, sliced 

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and sear the burgers until they are browned on both sides. Place the burgers on a lined baking tray and put in the oven for 10 mins.
  2. Keep the frying pan on the heat and add in the bacon slices. Cook to your liking.
  3. After 10 mins, take the burgers out of the oven and add the sliced brie on top. Put the burgers back into the oven for 3 – 4 mins until melted.
  4. Toast the brioche bun if you like. Use 1 tablespoon of cranberry sauce per burger bun and spread evenly over the top and bottom. Add the burger to the bun, then add the bacon on top.
