The Yorkshire Strongman has done it! Stuart Lambert has officially broken the world record for ‘most sausages lifted’ at HECK! HQ.
It all started when Stuart reached out with a truly outrageous challenge: to lift one tonne of HECK! sausages (that’s 2,500 packs!). There was only one answer – of course, we had to say yes! After all, how could we resist the chance to combine incredible strength, a mountain of sausages, and a brilliant cause all in one epic event?
But the day was about far more than just strength. The equivalent of every sausage Stuart lifted will now be donated by HECK! over the next 12 months to support those who need it most. The donation will be split across two places: 50% will go to Kitchens for Everyone in York, and the remaining 50% will be shared between three Hull soup kitchens: Hull Sunday Soup Kitchen, Reaching Out to the Homeless and The Silent Kitchen. A year’s worth of good food, all made possible by one extraordinary feat.
The atmosphere at HECK! HQ was electric. Friends, family and sausage fans gathered to cheer Stuart on as he lifted rep after rep, and ITV Calendar News captured the record-breaking moment for everyone to see. The crowd’s energy made the event even more memorable, turning a strongman challenge into a real celebration of community and generosity.
Thanks to Stuart’s incredible strength and everyone’s support, this one-off lift has become a year-long benefit for our community. It’s proof that a little strength, a lot of sausage, and a lot of heart can make a huge difference. No pain, no gain – as they say!
