The HECK! Team Celebrates a Standout Awards Season

We’ve been busy with awards season, with recognition coming from some of the most respected awards bodies across both the food and wider business landscape – the true “Oscars” of our industry.

This year, HECK! has been shortlisted for The Grocer Gold Awards – SME Brand of the Year, a category that champions brands pushing boundaries and redefining what success looks like in the UK food industry. The shortlist places HECK! alongside some of the most exciting and fast-moving names in the sector, all recognised for their ability to innovate, grow, and stay relevant in a rapidly changing market.

We were also a finalist for Growth Strategy of the Year at the British Business Awards, highlighting the ambition and long-term thinking behind our continued expansion. This recognition celebrates not just growth in scale, but growth with purpose – building a stronger, more resilient brand while staying true to our roots.

Ahead of the British Business Awards ceremony, Co-Founder Jamie Keeble also had the opportunity to meet George Clooney (yes, the George Clooney!) over lunch, who went on to deliver the keynote address at the event. It was a memorable moment in an already landmark occasion, adding a touch of Hollywood to an evening dedicated to celebrating British business excellence. And, honestly, we’re super impressed that Jamie managed to keep it cool – that deserves an award in itself.

To round off a strong year, we’re also proud to be Runner Up for the Family Business Award at the HSBC Small Business Growth Awards. As a family-founded business, this recognition carries particular significance. It reflects the values that have shaped HECK! from day one: integrity, hard work and a shared commitment to doing things the right way, not just the easy way.

While awards like this shine a light on the business as a whole, they are ultimately a reflection of the people behind it. From our teams on the farm and in production, to our product developers, marketers, logistics partners, and everyone in between, everyone at HECK! plays a role in making this success possible.

Just as importantly, it reflects the support of our customers and retail partners, who continue to back the brand, champion new products, and share in our journey. Without that belief and enthusiasm, none of this recognition would be possible.

Awards season may still be unfolding, but these nominations already mark a hugely positive moment for HECK! Food. They recognise not only where we are today, but the direction we’re heading in; one focused on sustainable growth, bold ideas, and continued innovation in the food space.

As we look towards the rest of 2026, one thing is clear: we’re not slowing down any time soon!
