This time of year is all about bringing people together, which is why we’re launching Meals That Matter - a series of community events in and around North Yorkshire.
Meals That Matter is a community event designed to bring warmth, connection and good food to rural villages and help to tackle rural loneliness and isolation, especially amongst elderly residents.
This month, our team will be visiting a number of villages in North Yorkshire, where they’ll be serving up some hearty homemade meals (including sausages, of course!) to bring people together and spread some festive cheer ahead of the big day itself.
Here’s where we’ll be heading, so please share the details if you know someone who’d love to come! All of the events will take place from 11am – 1pm:
- Topcliffe & Asenby – Wednesday 3 December
- Kirklington – Friday 12 December
- Sessay – Friday 19 December
We truly believe that sharing a meal can make a world of difference, especially during the colder, lonelier months, and we look forward to seeing everyone there.
