HECK’s Jamie Keeble recently spoke to a live audience at Food Matters Live about his journey to launching HECK and why he believes flexitarian diets are the future.
Jamie left school at 18, briefly pursuing a career in professional yachting before returning back home to North Yorkshire to help his parents set up HECK. Starting out on the factory floor making sausages, Jamie helped HECK become one of the most recognisable sausage brands in the UK, and now, at 32, he is in charge of the company’s £3 million turnover of sales, working with various retailers to get our products listed in their stores.
Jamie recently spoke about his journey as a guest speaker at Food Matters Live, where he recorded a live podcast with an audience of food undergraduates and talked about his journey to launching HECK. You can listen to the full podcast here to find out more, including why Jamie believes flexitarian diets are key to the future.
