Cornwall and Devon Walks with Julia Bradbury aired tonight, with a glorious walk at iconic Land’s End. If you tuned in, you will have spotted HECK too, as we’ve sponsored the show with lead actor Jack from HECK!
Jack pulled on his walking boots and set off from the HECK factory in Yorkshire to his final destination in Bude in Cornwall to raise money for SameYou, finishing his walk just before Christmas.
The walking theme is continued in 2021, with HECK working with TV presenter, Julia Bradbury. Jack and the rest of the HECK team star in the TV sponsorship in the ad breaks during her new walking programme Cornwall and Devon Walks with Julia Bradbury, which is set to air for 8 weeks from 6 January.
HECK’s Jamie says of the new collaboration, “We worked with Julia on our prostate cancer campaign as my grandfather sadly died from the disease, and Julia’s own father was affected. We also surrounded by fantastic countryside, so it seemed a brilliant fit to work with her.”
“We really bring the outdoors in to our team and even have a secret Railway Walk on our 800 acre farm around the factory, where we go to for fresh air on our lunch breaks with the dogs. Julia came up to see us and what we’re made of which was great fun.”
Jack’s challenge also caught the eye of Julia Bradbury, who wanted to find out more.

Tonight’s show featured a walk around the UK’s iconic Land’s End, with rugged cliff walks only accessible on foot. A stunning location to kick off the series.
