Well, Yorkshire wedding venue, Thief Hall, is embracing the ritual with a fun and memorable twist. Instead of leaving their happy couples to source their own sausages, they’ve been leaving packs of the HECK! Bride’s Lucky Sausage in rooms for superstitious couples not wanting to leave the weather on their wedding day to chance.
A spokesperson for Thief Hall said, “With the amount of rain we’ve seen across Yorkshire this year, we wanted to give couples a fun way to feel like they’re bringing a bit of sunshine to their day. We’ve seen how popular the ‘bury a banger’ tradition has become and wanted to make it as easy and as fun as possible to be part of that experience at Thief Hall. When we came across the HECK! Sausage packs, it felt like the perfect fit. Not only does it bring tradition to life in a light-hearted way, but it also allows us to support another great Yorkshire business.”
Thief Hall’s is the first wedding venue to build the superstition into their guests’ stay, encouraging couple’s to ditch rigid expectations and do their wedding their way – as our own Mica Keeble did on her wedding day to HECK!
