Thanks to Harrogate-based artist Lizzie Anthony, visitors to Leeds Bradford Airport can stop by our mural and admire a creative take on a day in the life of HECK whilst on their travels.
Titled “A day in the life of HECK”, the mural at Leeds Bradford Airport provides an artistic view of the HECK family against the stunning backdrop of North Yorkshire’s rolling hills. Designed by the extremely talented artist, Lizzie Anthony, the mural will have pride of place at Leeds Bradford Airport for some time before we take it with us to various major food and drink exhibitions up and down the country.
Lizzie explains. “I created a journey from the farm where it all began to the factory, depicting the HECK! entourage along its way. The initial idea of a ‘journey’ came from the brilliant and colourful collection of HECK! vehicles which the HECK! family travel up and down the country in. I thought, how can I not make a journey out of motorbikes with side cards, a HECK! ice cream truck and not forgetting their trusty hot van serving sausage sarnies. Also not forgetting the doggy mascots – all very much part of the HECK family! I was blown away by the Leeds Bradford mural, it was my biggest achievement to date!”
“We love a day in the life of HECK! so much” explains Becky Keeble, a member of HECK’s marketing team. “It really embodies the energy, enthusiasm and spirit of our team! Lizzie is a real family friend too, she went to school with many of us and in the summer holidays used to sell sausages at the shows, so she knows us so well!”
Keep an eye out for the mural at our upcoming events!
