A recipe full of goodness, our pork ramen bowl uses HECK 97% Pork Sausages, plenty of veg, bone broth and kimchi.

What You'll Need

  • 1 pack HECK 97% Pork Sausages (10 pack)
  • 500ml bone broth
  • 200ml water
  • 15g fresh ginger, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 boiled eggs, halved
  • 1 pack stir-fry vegetables (carrot, sweetcorn and pak choi)
  • 200g teriyaki sauce
  • 4 tbsp kimchi
  • 1 red chilli, finely sliced
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • Black sesame seeds, to serve
  • 3 packs sesame ramen noodles

Method

1. Remove the skins from the sausages and fry the meat in a pan over a medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks.

2. Add the bone broth, water, ginger and garlic to a saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer.

3. Once the sausage meat is golden, stir through the teriyaki sauce and cook for a few minutes until sticky. Set aside.

4. Steam the vegetables for 5–10 minutes until tender.

5. Add the ramen seasoning to the broth, then add the noodles and cook for 5 minutes.

6. Divide the noodles and broth between 4 bowls.

7. Top with the sticky pork, vegetables, kimchi, chilli, spring onions and half a boiled egg.

8. Finish with a sprinkle of black sesame seeds.
