This indulgent breakfast toastie is simple, comforting and full of flavour. Juicy sausages paired with rich, melty Brie and crisp golden bread make it perfect for a slow weekend morning or an elevated brunch at home.

Ingredients

Thick-cut bread

Brie slices

Butter
Method

Cook the sausages in a pan over medium heat until fully cooked and nicely browned. Slice lengthways and set aside.

Butter the outside of each slice of bread.

Fill the sandwich with sliced sausages and generous pieces of Brie.

Toast in a frying pan or toastie press over medium heat until the bread is golden and crisp and the Brie has melted.

Slice in half and serve warm.
