Easy homemade pasties filled with pork Italia sausage, tomato and mozzarella.
Ingredients
- 1 Pack Heck Pork Italia Sausages
- 4 White Wraps
- 4 Vine Tomato, sliced
- 100g Grated Mozzarella
- Fresh basil leaves
- 1 Egg
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment.
- Place a frying pan on a medium to high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil and cook the sausages for 12 - 15mins turning occasionally until cooked all the way through and piping hot. Remove the sausages from the pan and cut into small chunks.
- Place a wrap onto the baking tray. Add some tomato slices to one half of the wrap, leaving a 2 cm border, top with a quarter of the sausage chunks and finally a sprinkle of cheese.
- Brush the edge of the wrap with a little egg, then fold the empty half over. Use a fork to firmly press all the way round the edge, crimping the edges.
- Transfer to one of the oven trays, then brush all over with more egg and using a knife cut a small slit in the top. Repeat with the remaining wraps.
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden and crisp. Garnish with a handful of basil and serve with a mixed salad.
