Mini Star Burgers

Mini burgers, maximum fun.

HECK! Steak & Butter Meatballs smashed into little burger patties, topped with melty cheese and stacked between crispy potato stars with pickles. Perfect for kids’ tea, party plates or a fun dinner idea served with veg and your favourite dip.

What you’ll need

  • HECK! Steak & Butter Meatballs
  • 12 potato stars
  • 3 slices burger cheese, cut into quarters
  • 12 pickle slices
  • 12 cocktail sticks
  • Vegetables, to serve
  • Your favourite sauce, to serve

Method

  1. Place the HECK! Steak & Butter Meatballs onto a sheet of parchment paper. Cover with another sheet, then flatten with a pan or flat object until they form mini burger patties.
  2. Cook the potato stars in the air fryer at 180°C for 15 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  3. Meanwhile, heat a frying pan over a medium heat and cook the mini burgers for 10 minutes, turning halfway, until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add a piece of burger cheese to each mini burger and cook for a few more minutes until melted.
  5. To assemble, stack one potato star, one mini cheeseburger, one pickle slice and another potato star.
  6. Secure each mini burger with a cocktail stick.
  7. Serve with your favourite sauce and vegetables on the side.

Top Tip

Let the potato stars cool for a minute before stacking so they stay crisp and hold their shape.

Crispy stars. Mini burgers. Dinner made fun.
