Big Italian-inspired flavour. Sandwich form.
Smoky chicken rashers, crispy chorizo, salty prosciutto and roasted tomatoes layered into toasted olive & basil sourdough for a sandwich that’s big on flavour and seriously easy to love.
Ingredients
- 4 HECK! Smoky Chicken Rashers
- 2 slices olive & basil sourdough
- 4 slices chorizo
- 2 slices prosciutto
- Handful of baby tomatoes
- Handful of rocket
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
- Parmesan, to finish
- 1 tbsp butter
Method

Roast the tomatoes
Add the baby tomatoes to an air fryer and cook at 200°C for 10–12 minutes until softened and slightly blistered. -
Toast the bread
Butter one side of each slice of sourdough. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and toast butter-side down until golden and crisp. Set aside. -
Cook the rashers
In the same pan, cook the HECK! Smoky Chicken Rashers for around 5 minutes until golden and heated through. -
Build your sandwich
On the untoasted side of the bread, layer the rocket, prosciutto, chicken rashers, roasted tomatoes and chorizo. -
Finish with flavour
Add a little extra rocket, a generous shaving of Parmesan and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. -
Serve
Top with the second slice of sourdough, slice in half and get stuck in.
Top Tip
Warm the chorizo briefly in the pan after the rashers for extra crispy edges and even more flavour.
