Heck Chipolata Veggie & Cheddar Patties

Makes 8 mini patties | Serves 2–4

These golden little chipolata, veggie & cheddar patties are a brilliant way to sneak extra veg into mealtimes. Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and packed with flavour, they’re ideal for baby-led weaning (for older babies), toddlers’ lunches, or easy freezer-friendly snacks.

Method

  1. Remove the sausage meat from the casings and place in a bowl.

  2. Add the grated courgette, carrot and cheddar. Mix well until fully combined.

  3. Shape the mixture into 8 small round patties.

  4. Heat a little oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

  5. Fry the patties for 2–3 minutes on each side until lightly golden and cooked through.

  6. Remove and drain briefly on kitchen paper.
