Green & Simple Chicken Burger

Cook Time: 15-20 minutes - Serves 2

Quick, simple & delicious - how every mid-week meal should be!

Ingredients

2 x Chicken, Minted Pea & Spinach Burger

2 x Ready to bake white crusty rolls

A handful of Spinach Leaves

1 Beef Tomato, sliced

A handful of Fresh Cress

1tbsp Mayonnaise

Ketchup to serve (optional)

Chunky Chips to accompany (optional)

 Method

  • Pre-heat your oven to 200 fan
  • In a large hot pan, cook your HECK burgers with a little oil until golden brown and cooked all the way through. Whilst cooking, prepare your burger toppings starting with baking the bread rolls
  • Place the bread rolls on a baking tray in the middle of a pre-heated oven 200°C Fan, for 8-10 minutes. For a crisper crust, lightly sprinkle with water before baking. Allow to cool for 2 minutes on a wire rack before serving.
  • Slice the rolls in half and start building up the burger with the base of the bread roll - Layer on the mayonnaise, spinach leaves, chicken burger, a slice of beef tomato, cress & the roll lid
  • Serve up and enjoy with chunky chips!
