No time to go to the shops and stuck on what to cook for tea? No need to pick up the phone for a takeout, follow this simple recipe to create a nutritious family meal in just 30 minutes, using freezer and cupboard staples you're sure to have in!
Ingredients:
- 1 Pack Frozen Simply Chicken Sausages (2 sausages per person)
- 400g Frozen Peas (80g per person)
- 400g Frozen broccoli (80g per person)
- 2 Packets Microwave Rice
- 2 Tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and cook the sausages on an oven proof dish in the oven for 25-30 mins
- When the sausages are almost done cook the rice in the microwave according to packet instructions (around 2 minutes). Place the peas and broccoli in a bowl with some water and cook in the microwave for 3 minutes
- Mix the peas in with the rice, add the broccoli and 2 sausages to the plate and drizzle over either the sweet chili or the teriyaki sauce
