If you’re looking for some meal prep inspiration, try these to pep up your weekday lunches!  Cook a 4 pack of HECK Zesty burgers and eat up 2 for tea with some sweet potato wedges, then have these for lunch the next day.  Poaching the burgers keeps them super succulent and juicy, and is great way of cooking chicken burgers when the weather’s not quite ready to spend time at the BBQ…. Roll on summer nights!

Zesty Burger Wraps

Serves 2

Cooking time 20 mins


2 HECK Zesty burgers

2 medium carrots

¼ savoy cabbage

1 orange, segmented

Zest of 1 lime and 1 lemon

1.5 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tbsp fat free Greek Yoghurt

Generous handful rocket

4 soft tortilla wraps


Make the coleslaw by grating the carrots, finely slicing the savoy cabbage and mixing with the orange segments, lemon and lime zest, mayonnaise and Greek yoghurt.  Stir together well and set to one side until you’re ready to prepare the wraps.

Bring a pan of water to the boil, and slide in the HECK Zesty burgers.  Simmer with the lid on for approx. 10-12 minutes until the burgers are fully cooked.  Remove from the pan, and slice into strips.

To assemble the wraps, layer a small handful of rocket leaves about 5cm from the bottom of a soft tortilla wrap.  Then top with some coleslaw and finish with the Zesty chicken strips.  Fold the bottom of the tortilla over and bring the sides in.  Now roll from the bottom up and slice in half to serve.
