Sun Dried Tomato & Spinach Sausage Gnocchi

A Quick And Delicious, Tasty Treat.


8 Heck Zesty Chicken Sausages

50ml Olive Oil

70g Sun Dried Tomato paste

200ml Passata

8 Sliced Sun Dried Tomato

1 Bag of Gnocchi

2 Big Handfuls of Spinach

2 Crushed Garlic Cloves

50ml white wine

Fresh Torn Basil

Parmesan Shavings

Sea Salt

Course Black Pepper


1.Place a large pan of salted water onto the boil, and pop the sausages under the grill for 10-12 minutes as this is coming up to the boil and the sausages are cooking, in a large frying pan add the olive oil and the garlic cook for a few minutes then add the sun dried tomato paste, passata, white wine and season to taste then simmer for 10-12 minutes you may need to add a touch of water if this becomes to thick, you want this sauce to just coat the gnocchi.


2.As the sauce is cooking away add the gnocchi to the boiling water and cook until they float to the to of the pan about 3-4 minutes then drain well.


3.Slice the cooked sausages into 5 and add the sausages, gnocchi and, sliced sun tomatoes and the spinach to the sauce, toss and cook just until the spinach has wilted down, serve and sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and torn basil.

This recipe uses Zesty Chicken chipolatas, but works equally well with other HECK Chicken sausages e.g.  Naked, Italia, Smoky Paprika, Spring or Simply. You could try it with our Thai-Style Turkey too!
