Laura shows us her favourite Naked Chicken recipe! These are super easy for an on-the-go snack, or even with some greens at dinnertime!  You could make up these recipes with Naked Pork as well and it would work just as well.

Laura's HECK Naked Chicken Stuffed Mozzarella Balls

Serves 2
Preparation time 15 mins
Cooking time 10 mins


1 pack of HECK Naked Chicken sausages

1 mozzarella ball

A little oil if shallow frying


To serve:

Dips of your choice such as tomato salsa, guacamole, pesto, garlic butter, sweet chilli…



Why not add this to your meal prep for the week? Throw 2 balls into a Tupperware for lunch tomorrow!   

Here is how to make these delicious balls.

  • Take each sausage out of the pack individually and roll into a ball.

  • Flatten each ball into a circle using a rolling pin or the palm of your hand

  • Slice your mozzarella into cubes and place in the centre of each circle. Fold each circle around the mozzarella and roll until all the mozzarella is covered.

  • We’d recommend you shallow fry your balls in a pan, but you can always pop them on a baking tray and oven bake them if you’d prefer (180 degrees for 25 mins). Make sure they are brown and crispy on the outside, and cooked all the way through.

  • Serve with a dip of your choice! We went for a tomato salsa, but you really could have anything! Pesto, garlic butter, sweet chilli…

Why not try rolling the balls in flour, egg and breadcrumbs to add a bit of crunch?
