JAMIE'S HECK NAKED PORK TACOS

Give these a go! A Mexican twist using our HECK Naked Pork Sausages.  Jamie used Pork for this recipe, but you could swap this for the Naked Chicken flavour, depending on what you prefer.  Either way, this recipe is delicious!   

Jamie's HECK Naked Pork Tacos

Serves 4
Preparation time 20 mins
Cooking time 20 mins

Ingredients

1 pack of HECK Naked Pork sausages

1 tin chopped tomatoes

1 pepper (green, red, or yellow)

1 onion

A little bit of chilli (powder, fresh or flakes)

1 tsp smoked paprika

A little oil

1 pack of corn tacos

A couple of handfuls of grated cheese

Salt and pepper

 

To serve:

Throw your taco together with some sour cream, salsa and guacamole for the full Mexican experience!

 

 

Steps

Here is how Jamie made his tacos!

  • Chop, slice and dice your onion and pepper. Throw them into a frying pan with some oil and cook until the onion is brown.

  • Remove your HECK Naked Pork sausages from the packaging and pop them into the pan. Separate the meat using a spatula and turn your sausages into mince. This will become easier as the meat cooks.

  • Once the meat has browned off, season with smoked paprika, salt and pepper.

  • Give it a good old mix, and then throw in your chopped tomatoes.

  • Turn the hob heat down slightly, and leave it to simmer. This will bring out the flavour. 10-15 minutes will do perfectly!

  • Load up your taco shell, adding some cheese and all your toppings!

  • ENJOY!
