Simple, yet so effective! Who doesn’t love a sausage roll?  Enjoy these hot or cold, with a dollop of your favourite chutney. Again, like all our Naked skinless sausage recipes, you could make this recipe with either our pork or chicken sausages.

Izzy's HECK Naked Pork Sausage Rolls

1 pack of HECK Naked Pork sausages

1 roll of puff pastry

Salt and pepper

2 eggs beaten



Izzy’s step-by-step guide to make these easy-peasy Naked Sausage Rolls.

  • Roll out your puff pastry, and slice into 6 evenly sized rectangles. Remember, they need to be big enough to wrap around each individual sausage.

  • Place each sausage in the middle of the rectangle of pastry. Once you have done this, coat all the pastry and sausage in your beaten egg.

  • Fold the pastry over your Naked sausage. Make sure you seal the edges and any excess pastry you can cut off!

  • Place your sausage rolls in the fridge on a plate for about 10 minutes, this allows the pastry to harden before you cook it, this way it will keep its shape better.

  • Before you cook your sausage rolls, score the tops of the pastry with a knife. Brush the tops with the rest of the egg and then pop them in the oven for 25 minutes! Make sure the pastry is brown and crispy before you take them out!

  • Leave your sausage rolls to cool slightly before you dig in! Serve with chutney and cheese!
