Gourmet Goats' Cheese Brioche Bun Burger With Sweet Potato Wedges

Ingredients

2 HECK Gourmet Goats’ Cheese Burgers

2 brioche buns

1 beef tomato (washed and cut into thick slices)

1 baby gem lettuce (leaves separated and washed)

2 large sweet potatoes, skin on

Sea salt

Olive oil

 

GO Gluten-Free!  Make a simple food swap to make this recipe gluten-free.  Replace the brioche bun for a gluten-free bun or grill two large, flat mushrooms and use as the bun top and bottom.

 

Steps

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°c, fan 160°c, gas mark 4. Pre-heat grill to medium.
  2. Wash and cut the potatoes into chunky wedges and place onto a baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil, season with sea salt and roast for 25 mins.
  3. 15 mins into the sweet potato cooking time, place the burgers under the grill and cook for 10-12 mins, turning frequently.
  4. Just before everything is cooked, split and lightly toast the buns, then build the burgers with slices of lettuce and tomato.
  5. Serve with ketchup or burger sauce and the sweet potato wedges on the side.
