For a healthy twist on a burger why not try this vegetarian alternative, simple but seriously satisfying. The heat from the horseradish in the burger is an amazing combination with the sweetness from the pepper and onions fried off in balsamic vinegar, definitely worth a try!  

Beet goes On Burger with Red onion and Peppers

Cook Time: 15 minutes


1 pack of Heck! Beet Goes On burgers

1 red onion

1 pepper

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 tbsp mustard

1 tbsp tomato ketchup

2 bread buns


  • Firstly, add a little oil to a frying pan and cook the burgers for around 10 minutes.
  • Whilst the burgers are cooking slice up the onions and pepper and fry them off in balsamic vinegar until they soften.
  • Now it’s time to assemble the burger so put a good spoonful of mustard and tomato ketchup onto the bottom half of the bread bun.
  • Pop the burger in the bun, the onions and peppers on top and the other half of the bread bun on top of that.
  • Now serve and enjoy!
