Fresh, green and vegan - now, this is a pizza recipe you need to try! We've used a vegan pesto base, filled the middle with salad and topped with our HECK Vegfurters, chilli flakes and a balsamic glaze.
Ingredients:
- 1 Pack Vegfurters
- Vegan Pizza Dough (we bought ready-made but can make your own)
- 1 Jar Vegan Pesto
- 1 Large Tomato
- Vegan Cheese
- 1 Handful Mixed Salad
- 1 Handful Pine Nuts
- Red pepper/chili flakes – to garnish
- Balsamic Glaze – to garnish
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and pan-fry the Heck Vegfurters for 15 minutes. Then chop the sausages into bite sized pieces
- Whilst the sausages cook, roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface
- Spread the pesto over the base, leaving an inch around the edges
- Next, Slice the tomatoes and add to the pizza followed by the vegan cheese
- Put the pizza into the oven for 15 minutes
- Add a handful of salad into the middle of the pizza, and top with the chopped Vegfurters
- Sprinkle the pine nuts and red pepper/chili flakes over the pizza and garnish with the balsamic glaze
