Vegfurter Pesto Pizza

Fresh, green and vegan - now, this is a pizza recipe you need to try! We've used a vegan pesto base, filled the middle with salad and topped with our HECK Vegfurters, chilli flakes and a balsamic glaze.



  • 1 Pack Vegfurters
  • Vegan Pizza Dough (we bought ready-made but can make your own)
  • 1 Jar Vegan Pesto
  • 1 Large Tomato
  • Vegan Cheese
  • 1 Handful Mixed Salad
  • 1 Handful Pine Nuts
  • Red pepper/chili flakes – to garnish
  • Balsamic Glaze – to garnish


  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and pan-fry the Heck Vegfurters for 15 minutes. Then chop the sausages into bite sized pieces
  2. Whilst the sausages cook, roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface
  3. Spread the pesto over the base, leaving an inch around the edges
  4. Next, Slice the tomatoes and add to the pizza followed by the vegan cheese
  5. Put the pizza into the oven for 15 minutes
  6. Add a handful of salad into the middle of the pizza, and top with the chopped Vegfurters
  7. Sprinkle the pine nuts and red pepper/chili flakes over the pizza and garnish with the balsamic glaze
