Roast Pumpkin and sausage

Prep time: 5 minutes   Cook time: 40 minutes   Serves: 4-6 

This dish gives off all the cosy autumn vibes made with roasted pumpkin, red onions, bacon and our Pork Heck 97 sausages!


  • 1 Pack Heck 97
  • 800g of Peeled Pumpkin
  • 2 Red Onion
  • 3 Slices Bacon
  • 2 Tsp Caraway seeds
  • 500ml Beef Stock
  • 2 Tsp Crème Fraiche 


  1. Firstly, preheat the oven to 200 degrees
  2. Chop your pumpkin into moon shaped chunks and peel and chop the onion into wedges. Transfer them into an oven proof dish
  3. Add the bacon, sausages and caraway seeds then drizzle 2 tbsp of olive oil over the top and pop the dish in the oven for 20 minutes
  4. Pour in the beef stock and return to oven for another 20 minutes
  5. Plate up your roast and slowly mix a small amount of crème fraiche into the juices to make a sauce
