Posh Nuggets served with Homemade Dips

Prep time: 20 mins - Cook time: 20 mins - Serves 5-10

Three quick and easy dip recipes to serve along side our Piri Piri and Italia Posh Nuggets. Make ahead for a speedy starter or as part of a buffet table.

INGREDIENTS

1 x pack Piri Piri Chicken Posh Nuggets

1 x pack Chicken Italia Posh Nuggets

Sour cream and chive dip:

2 garlic cloves

100g sour cream

100g creme fraiche

1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

2 tbsp lemon juice

Houmous:

200g/ canned chickpeas

2 tbsp lemon juice or more

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 tsp ground cumin

pinch salt

1 tbsp tahini

4 tbsp water

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Garlic Aioli:

1 garlic clove, crushed

2 tbsp lemon juice

150g mayonnaise

1 tsp dijon mustard 

METHOD

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°c/356F. Place the nuggets onto two oven trays and bake for 20 minutes until golden and crisp.
  2. Meanwhile prep the dips, these can be done ahead of time if necessary.
  3. For the garlic and chive dip, crush the garlic in a pestle and mortar until a paste forms, add to a bowl with the sour cream, creme fraiche, chives and lemon juice and stir until fully combined.
  4. For the humous, drain the chickpeas and rinse. Combine the chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt, tahini, and water in a food processor, and blend to a creamy puré Spoon into a serving bowl and finally drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
  5. For the garlic aioli, put all the ingredients in a small bowl along with 1 tbsp of boiling water. Mix everything until really well combined.

Serve the crispy nuggets alongside the three dips.
