One Heck! Of A Picnic

Prep Time: 45mins - Cooking Time: 15mins - Makes: 30 sandwiches

Beet Goes On Tiger Roll

Ingredients

  • x1 Pack Heck! Beet Goes On Sausages
  • x1 Tiger Roll Stick
  • x5 Cherry Tomatoes (Finely Sliced)
  • 1/2 Cucumber (Finely Sliced)
  • 20g Red Leicester Cheese (Grated)
  • 30g Rocket Leaves 

Method

  1. Place a frying pan on the hob at a medium to high heat with a drizzle of oil. Remove the packaging from the sausages and place them into the frying pan for 10 - 12 mins, turning occasionally.
  2. Whilst the sausages are cooking, slice your tiger stick into 5 equally sized rolls, then cut each one in half horizontally.
  3. Time for the filling - Once the sausages are cooked -  slice each one in half then place them onto the bread. Add a couple of slices of the cherry tomatoes and cucumber to each roll, top with the grated Red Leicester and rocket leaves. 

 Simply Chicken Wrap

Ingredients

  • x1 Pack Heck! Simply Chicken Chipolatas
  • x2 Wraps
  • 100g Mixed Leaf Salad
  • 20g Red Leicester Cheese (grated)
  • x5 Cherry Tomatoes (finely sliced)
  • 15g Pickled Shredded Beetroot
  • 2 tbsp Light Mayonnaise 

Method

  1. Place a frying pan on the hob at a medium to high heat with a drizzle of oil. Remove the packaging from the sausages and place them into the frying pan for 12 - 14 mins, turning occasionally.
  2. Whilst the sausages are cooking, evenly spread the mayonnaise over the wraps. Sprinkle over the pickled beetroot, salad leaves, grated cheese and cherry tomato slices.
  3. Once the sausages are cooked, slice each one in half and place the halves on top of the salad. When all the filling is in, fold the bottom of the wrap, then tightly fold one of the sides over, tuck and roll the wrap so everything is nicely folded in. 
  4. Finally, slice each wrap in half.

Vegan Breakfast Wrap

Ingredients

  • x1 Pack Heck! Vegan Breakfast Sausages
  • x2 Wraps
  • 100g Mixed Leaf Salad
  • 20g Vegan Cheese (grated)
  • x5 Cherry Tomatoes (finely sliced)
  • 1 tbsp Pickled Shredded Beetroot
  • 2 tbsp Vegan Mayonnaise

  • x1 Pack 6 Seeded Wholemeal Rolls
  • 20g Red Leicester Cheese (Grated)

  • x1 Salad Tomato (Sliced)
  • 20g Baby Spinach
  • 1/4 Cucumber
  • 1 tbsp light mayonnaise

Method

Vegan Breakfast Rolls

  • x1 Pack 6 Seeded Wholemeal Rolls
  • 20g Vegan Cheese (Grated)

Chicken Italia Cornbread Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • x1 Pack Heck! Chicken Italia Chipolatas
  • x1 Cornbread 
  • x5 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 50g Mixed Leaves and Rocket
  • 2 tbsp Light Mayonnaise

Method

  1. Place a frying pan on the hob at a medium to high heat with a drizzle of oil. Remove the packaging from the sausages and place them into the frying pan for 12 - 14 mins, turning occasionally. 
  2. Whilst the sausages are cooking, Cut the bread into evenly sized pieces. and spread the mayonnaise over the slices.
  3. Sprinkle over the mixed leaves, rocket and cherry tomatoes.
  4. Once the sausages are cooked - slice each one in half then place them onto the bread, top with other side of the sliced bread.

Reduced Fat Pork Farmhouse Sandwich

Ingredients

  • x1 Pack Heck! Reduced Fat Pork Sausages
  • x1 Farmhouse Sliced Loaf
  • 20g Red Leicester Cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsp Light Mayonnaise

Method

  1. Place a frying pan on the hob at a medium to high heat with a drizzle of oil. Remove the packaging from the sausages and place them into the frying pan for 12 - 14 mins, turning occasionally. 
  2. Grab a couple of slices of the Farmhouse loaf and spread over the mayonnaise and the grated cheese.
  3. Once the sausages are cooked - slice each one in half then place them onto the bread, top with other side of the sliced bread.
You can always add some salad leaves or tomatoes for some extra yummyness!

Raw Layered Salad Bowl

Ingredients

  • x1 pack Heck! Beet Goes On Sausages
  • 100g Mixed Leaf Salad
  • x1 Red Pepper (sliced into strips)
  • x1 Yellow Pepper
  • 250g Cherry Tomatoes (Sliced in Half)
  • 2 Medium Carrots (Grated)
  • 1/2 Jar Vegan Mayonnaise
  • x1 Red Pepper (Finely Chopped)
  • x1 Yellow Pepper (Finely Chopped)
  • 100g Red Leicester Cheese (Grated)

Cooked Pasta Salad Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack Meat Free Chipolatas
  • 150g Fusilli Pasta
  • 90g Soft Cheese
  • 100g Chestnut Mushrooms (finely sliced)
  • x1 Onion (finely sliced)
  • x1 Red Pepper (sliced into strips)
  • x1 yellow Pepper (sliced into strips)
  • x1 Orange Pepper (sliced into strips)
  • ½ Head Broccoli (florets taken off stem)

Method

  1. Place a pan on the hob filled with salted water and bring to the boil. Once the water has boiled, drain away the water and mix in the Soft Cheese and Place to one side.
  2. Then in another pan cook the Mushrooms, Onion, Peppers and Broccoli until soft. Separate each vegetable into bowls and put to one side.
  3. In the same pan, drizzle in some olive oil, once the pan is hot pop the Meat free sausages in and cook for 10 – 12 mins turning occasionally.
  4. Once everything is cooked and cooled, it’s time to layer everything in the bowl.
  5. Start with the soft cheese pasta then the mushrooms, onion, peppers and broccoli.
  6. Garnish with fresh chives.

 Homemade Garlic Ciabatta

Ingredients

  • x1 Ciabatta Loaf
  • x2 Garlic Cloves (finely diced)
  • 50g Butter (softened)
  • ½ tsp Oregano

Method

  1. Pre – heat the oven to 180’C
  2. Mix together the diced garlic, butter and oregano in a bowl
  3. Slice the ciabatta loaf in half horizontally and spread over the garlic butter mix, make sure to spread the butter to the edges.
  4. Place the ciabatta onto a baking tray and cook for 10 – 15mins until brown and toasted.
  5. Once cooked slice into 6 pieces.

Simply Chicken Chipolata Kebabs

Ingredients

  • x1 Pack Heck! Simply Chicken Chipolatas
  • 80g Black & Green Pitted Olives
  • 150g Mini Mozzarella Balls
  • 100g Cherry Tomatoes
  • ¼ Cucumber (chopped into chunks)
  • 6 Wooden Skewers

Method

  • Place a frying pan on the hob at a medium to high heat with a drizzle of oil. Remove the packaging from the sausages and place them into the frying pan for 12 - 14 mins, turning occasionally. 
  • Once the sausages are cooked and cooled slightly, chop each one into 3 equal pieces.
  • Gently place the sausage onto the skewer, followed by a cherry tomato, an olive, mini mozzarella ball, a cucumber chunk. Then repeat again until the skewer is full.
  • Continue doing this for all the skewers.
You can choose any extra ingredients, like Feta cheese or Sundried tomatoes. Play around with lots of different flavours.
