Try these tasty little snacks.  Just like traditional pigs in blankets but made healthier with HECK’s delicious chicken sausages that contain up to 70% less fat than regular pork sausages.  Serve alongside a traditional roast dinner or as perfect party canapés.


  • 1 Pack HECK! Chicken Italia Chipolatas
  • 14-16 rashers good quality streaky bacon


  1. Separate the chipolatas and give each a pinch and twist in the middle, snipping where you make the twist to make them into cocktail size sausages. 
  2. Wrap half to one rasher of bacon around each chipolata, depending on how much bacon you like.
  3. Place the chicks in blankets on a baking sheet and cook in a pre-heated oven 190°C/170°C Fan/Gas Mark 5 for 25 minutes until the bacon is tinged with brown and the ends are going crispy. 
  4. Serve alongside a roast dinner or as a tasty snack or canapés.
